    Phil Matibe is the founder of gejomobile and was a pioneer in the development of the fresh
    produce export and outgrower networks in Zimbabwe. An astute agricultural entrepreneur with
    over 20 years of commercial farm management and agronomy experience in subsaharan Africa.
    He has extensive experience in sustainable organic agriculture, artificial insemination, drip
    irrigation systems and greenhouse horticulture. Phil is responsible for the overall strategic
    direction, leadership and co-ordination of gejomobile and has cultivated a culture-change that
    focuses on African smallholder farmers' agricultural potential .

    Phil grew up on farms and brings to gejomobile all the agricultural ideas that can be transformed
    into practical applications. Phil was the driver behind GAMIS and SamCom and has been
    instrumental in the initiation of GAIT - the gejomobile RFID livestock identification and tracking
    system for use by smallholder farmers in Africa.
